In this artwork, I depict a pendulum clock
with the sun and moon representing the 24-hour cycle.
The central tree, transitioning from barren to new growth, beautifully illustrates nature’s resilience and ability to heal over time. The addition of
gold highlights the precious moments of this natural regeneration.
In this artwork I tried to explore how time influences physical space. The round frame, like a
clock with Roman numerals, represents the measurement of time. At the center, an hour hand
shaped like a tree with roots connecting to urban
architecture symbolizes the coexistence of society
and nature. The splashing tree and flooding water
separate the forest and buildings, highlighting how
time affects natural and urban environments differently. It shows that over time, the relationship
between nature and urbanization evolves, leading to various environmental changes.
